helper-tool

Hi, Under applications allowed in background, i can see something called 'Helper-Tool' and 'tidepool' from an unidentified developer. Does anyone know what this is for ? should I uncheck the box...

If you have in the past installed a JRE for Java, then you would have a ‘Helper-Tool’ as part of the JavaAppletPlugin.
‘tidepool’ could have to do with the services as described on the Tidepool website. I can’t find any other association with software.
