I wanted to purchase Miami Vice on Apple TV, but it appears that there is no option for purchasing season 1. The rest of the seasons are all available at $19.99 each, but season 1 only offers individual episodes. Is this intended or is it some sort of glitch? It's tough for me to make a decision on buying seasons 2-5 if I cannot watch the very first season. Thanks.

Miami Vice season 1 shows up for me as purchasable by episode only.
Apparently something in the contract has changed and Apple is not allowed to sell the first season or there is some kind of error at itunes store.
Season 1 is currently on Tubi US.
Not sure if that relates to why S01 isn’t currently offered on the iTunes Store as one item to buy. That may change in the future, as the suppling studio sees fit (NBC/Universal City Studios).
It isn’t uncommon to only have certain seasons available for purchase. It depends on licensing, regional restrictions, etc.
