Clock resets when Macbook is off for more than ~1 day and always trying to make me travel back in time to 2020

As someone who lives in NZ. Whenever I put the clock on automatic NZ time, it always takes me back to the same date in 2020 and never continues ticking when Macbook is off

Something isn't right about that. Please type the following in that field, where Wellington, New, Zealand appears:


time.apple.com


That is the address of an Apple time server, which of course knows nothing about your location. Your location should be accurately reflected in the Time Zone tab. If "Set time zone automatically using current location" is not selected, try selecting it.


If it does not correctly detect your location, make it so:

That ought to fix things.
