Only one device won't connect to network

We have several Apple devices but I have a recurring issue connecting to my Macbook Air to mypreferred wifi network. When I attempt to switch to that network it won't accept the password when I type it in, or when I have the password provided by another device (connected to that network).

If it matters: Recently I "upgraded" my Verizon service and that process involved moving the main router (that I now have trouble with) to the basement and an extension was placed in the spot the main one previously occupied. I also have a second extension on the top floor of my house to which my laptop will still connect. That second extension has been functioning properly for years.

The problematic network does appear as available in my Macbook's list of networks, but as I mentioned above, the password entry dialog box keeps reappearing after I enter the (correct) password.

Hey Brent Emerson,

Thanks for the helpful information. We appreciate it! Let's try the following steps from this article: If your Mac isn't connecting to the internet over Wi-Fi

Also, did you get in touch with your ISP about your network? If not, we recommend that you let them know about this as well. We understand you're able to connect to your network with other devices, but there might be an additional requirement to connect your Mac to this router.

Let us know the results, and we'll be looking forward to your response!

Best regards.

This has been consistently happening to me on several of my devices. It is not only on my network. The mac mini and the macbook pro both simply decide they won't connect. Restarts sometime solve the issue. The mac mini is brand new and has very little on it. This is clearly an Apple WiFi issue but I can't even get at network settings anymore properly because the interface has been dumbed down. Good work Apple.
