How to fix Safari mobile browser when it cannot fully display reply text box of online chat @ bottom of screen?

The reply text box of Online chat is cutoff @ bottom of iPad Mini 6 Display using Safari of iPadOS 16.4.1(a). I can’t see what I’m typing as the message box is cut off; scrolling doesn’t work. As if online chat isn’t designed for smaller Display.


How to fix?

your help is much appreciated.

This normally occurs due to the website developer not optimizing their web app for safari. Safari, unlike Google Chrome on desktop (which has more users and do adapt to modern website implementations sooner compare to safari) for example, do not render/process websites the exact same way.


In short, you can try enabling desktop mode:

  1. Tap the “aA” icon in the top-left corner of the Safari browser.
  2. Select “Request Desktop Site” from the menu that appears.

if that didn't work, there's nothing you can do

Thanks I have already set my mobile Safari to “Request Desktop Site”. this problem exists years ago; Because Mobile devices, especially iOS devices are less susceptible to security risk, I have been using iOS devices instead of Microsoft Desktop for banking online. It’s surprising this problem is still unresolved and there’s no alternative except waiting?
