Error when trying to sign up for Apple Podcast Connect

Hi,

I am trying to sign up for Apple Podcast Connect. I get to the terms of service page and when I accept the terms and submit, there is an error. Unfortunately, I can am unable to select the “contact us” link at the bottom of the page as indicated in other posts because I am redirected back to the same terms of service page and same error. Is there a more direct way to contact customer service?

This has been a problem for some people. You must have a payment method registered in Apple Music/iTunes: make sure your computer is authorised to play purchases (Apple Music or iTunes menu Account>Authorisations>Authorise this Computer). Then try logging in at https://podcastsconnect.apple.com

If this fails I would suggest reporting it Podcasts Support: https://podcastsconnect.apple.com/contact-us


If that fails the next step is to contact Apple Support: Support


Don't present this as a podcasting problem - they don't handle those and will refer you to Podcasts Support. Present the problem as being the inability to access Podcasts Support. It's also been suggested that getting them to look at your Apple ID may clear matters: do you have a Developer ID? Someone else found that his didn't work and when he created a normal ID it worked.

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your response.


I can confirm that I have tried to do this on my computer, which is authorized. I also have tried on my iPhone.


I've also read the "Create Apple Podcast" link prior to signing up. It's step 2 on Apple's side that is not working.


As previously stated, the Podcast Support will not let me contact anyone for support until I sign up. It just redirects me back to the "Terms of Service" page that gives me the error when I try to submit it.


I've been trying to handle this with Apple Support and I am currently just being bounced around from chats to calls. I also don't have a Developer ID.


Let me know if you have any other ideas.
