Screen time erases itself

Every single day I turn screen time limits on for my children, and every single day it erases it. Half the time, I don’t realize it until I discover they’ve been on their phones for much longer than they’re supposed to.

This has been reported many many times on these forums, with hundreds of people upvoting it. Clearly Apple has no intention of actually fixing it. I’ve gotten to the point that I think they’re incapable of delivering a high quality product anymore.
