Netflix isn’t working?

Netflix works on our fire stick, iPad, iPhone & roku but not on the apple tv. Any help?

Apple TV HD, tvOS 16

Netflix is work on all the devices in our house except our 4x Apple TVs. This just started today, 11 December.

i have restarted the system, sign out and back into Netflix, updated the Apple TV software, and even deleted and reinstalled Netflix. Nothing seems to be working. Assistance is appreciated.

Update your Apple TV system software to the current version, if not done already. How to update your Apple TV - Apple Support. The Netflix app is currently said to require tvOS 16.1 or later, according to their App Store submission description.


Try this for any misbehaving app:

  1. Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
  2. If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
  3. If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
  4. If the issue still persists, then contact the app developer for further assistance.
