Unable to reliably send text from my MacBook Pro 16 M2

Sometimes the syncing iMessages between my Mac and my iPhone has mishaps.

But, when trying to send an SMS from my Mac, it always fails. But, the good news is that is works find on my iPhone. As for receiving SMS text, it always work on both devices (iPhone and Mac).

I talked to a senior technician at Apple yesterday, and he could not help me. No resolution in sight.

Any ideas?

Yes, Text Forwarding is correctly set, so is SMS.

The issue has been fixed.

There was an issue with my Mac Apple ID to which the Mac eventually reported to me. I told the senior technician that I suspected some sort of corruption on my Mac that prevented text from my Mac to the iPhone properly. Turns out, I was right.
