Hello danstephan79,
We see you have a question about restricting your child's texting to specific contacts. There are some ways to help accomplish this. First, you will want to make sure you have a Family Sharing setup for all involved people. Start with the steps here: Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support
Then, you can use Screen Time to manage your child's device. We'll post steps and information from this article: Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
On your device:
1. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
2. Scroll down and choose your child's name under Family.
3. Tap Turn on Screen Time, then tap Continue.
4. Set up Downtime, App Limits, and Content & Privacy with the limitations that you want for your child, or tap Not Now.
5. Tap Use Screen Time Passcode, then enter a passcode when prompted. Re-enter the passcode to confirm.
6. Enter your Apple ID and password. This can be used to reset your Screen Time passcode if you forget it.
You will also need iCloud Contacts enabled. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Make sure Contacts shows enabled. Once done, you can then set Communication Limits on your child's device.
Note: Communication to known emergency numbers identified by your iPhone or Apple Watch cellular carrier is always allowed.
On your device:
This will give you the option to choose which contacts you want to allow or restrict. If you have further questions, reply back here.
All the best.
