I can share a trip that is just a simple point to point trip, however, when there are multiple stops the "SHARE" button does not work. Why not? How do I get this fixed?

This is because the "Report an issue" method only allows reporting of some specific issues and not technical problems with the app. Hopefully they will fix the problem I reported, that is, enabling the SHARE button to work when you want to share directions that have more than one stop.

As we don't have good support for Maps from users here, I can only recommend using the Feedback links I posted or calling support. I wish were more I could do, but I d mont know the internal workings within Apple.
I have discovered the following:-
My recommendation is to use Google Maps as it does not have either of these problems. You just copy the link for the trip plan, paste it in an email and send it off to whoever you like.

HINT: I found when reporting Maps errors that mentioning that "another" map service has it correctly seems to encourage action. Nudge, nudge.
Hi Allan, thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, the "Report an issue" does not seem to allow reporting of functional problems. It only seems to allow reporting of problems about particular places on the map.
The challenge is that Apple is a relatively small company that does not have time to actually test or use their own product. It would only make sense that you could share a route that you create on your mac to your Iphone so you could actually drive the route. But that does not seem to makes sense to Apple, even though this has been an issue for years. So we need to use the bigger company, Google, to do our routing.
You make me laugh. Apple is one of the largest companies the entire world. I want an answer from Apple themselves, not the community.
