Share ETA Not Working After IOS 18 update

Before updating, Apple Maps would allow me to share my ETA and would turn from blue to green when doing so. Now, each time I try to share my location with a contact, it will say “sharing ETA” before the tab drops without actually sharing my location. Location services are turned on for Apple Maps, as they always have been. Is anyone else having this issue :/
