this setting cannot be changed because your apple id does not meet the age restrictions

Installing ios 17.5 has not worked for me.

Recently, this has been a bug that was resolved with updating my software to iOS 17.5.

Have you try this? -> Update the birth date associated with your Apple ID:

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. Go to Settings > [your name].
2. Tap Name, Phone Numbers, Email. You might need to enter your Apple ID password.
3. Tap Change Birthday or Birthday. 
4. Update your birth date, then tap Done. 

If your birthday shows that you are currently under 13, you will need to contact Apple Support for assistance in changing it.
