Why is a deleted card still being charged on my apple wallet

I have been charged multiple times to a card that was deleted months ago. I have reached out to customer support for the specific app being charged and advised it was done through Apple Pay and they won’t reverse unless they know last 4 digits of card used which is specific to the apple wallet card added which I can not see since card was deleted months ago.

When I reached out to apple they advised it couldn’t have been charged if deleted but they aren’t able to see transactions.

Bank confirms it was charged through Apple Pay. Someone explain how it’s okay to charge a card that was deleted months ago and I can not get any help with this matter??

I have been working on a solution to this for over a week. jenianne176, you have the solution. Apple wallet does not update on all devices. You have to go and change this setting on all your apple devices!

Thank you!

Go to settings, click on your name at the top, then Payment & Shipping. More than likely the card you deleted is still registered for Media & Purchases. Before you can remove that card, you MUST have a new card on file. I only found this out today when I contacted my bank regarding multiple app purchases that my nephew made. The bank rep told me that's what happened to her, and that is what someone at Apple told her she needed to do. Because I had removed the card recently, it was easy to see which card Apps were getting charged to. Hope this helps

Are you an Apple employee? If so, you are wrong. I have the same issue with a specific app where I deleted my default credit card and replaced it with another credit card in Apple Wallet. It says in settings that the new credit card is my default card for transactions. But it's not the case with this app. I keep getting charged on my old card. I just got my new credit card and have to use it to get cash bonus, you Apple employees need to do better.

Did anyone get this issue resolved? I contacted the app customer service, and they said to remove the cookies and update payment info on Apple Wallet, which I did ALL OF THEM! Locking the card and changing the card number don't do anything because this is digital wallet payment. The bank tells me that the charges are through APPLE.COM/BILL. This tells me that it's Apple's customer service I need to work with. But this seems to not work either.

Anyone got an answer?
