Thank you. The 90 desire is for health reasons. Wonder why 100 is a limit. Seems it’s just numbers, why wouldn’t it be settable to any HR?

High heart rate notification while exercising I’m not supposed to get my heart rate above 120-130 while exercising. Apple’s own software will only notify me of a high heart rate only when resting, so that does not help me. I cannot find an app that lets me do one simple thing: set a BPM and notify me if I’m hitting it. Surely there has to be one out there?! Googling it only brings up instructions on how to set the built in version that is for resting only. It’s extremely frustrating as I’d like to get back to being active but know that I am within the safe limits my doctors have advised. I can’t believe there is no way to se this on the Apple Watch .

Low heart rate needs better notification Why is there no option for vibration/alarm when the watch detects low heart rate overnight? The feature is nice but if you’re unaware of the low heart rate happening in your sleep you could potentially die. The alarm would wake you up and that would make your heart rate increase to a safer rate. The visual notification in the morning is too late. is the alarm an option on the more expensive watch (it’s not on my SE). Thank you!

The High Heart Rate notification / alarm can be set right into the Health app on your iPhone. Open the Health app ➡️ Browse ➡️ Heart ➡️ Hight Heart Rate Notification ➡️ High Heart Rate Notifications: Here you will see options to set up the notification / alarm. Unfortunately, 90 bpm is not an option. The lowest available bpm is 100.
