mac mini m2 microphone not working over Citrix

I recently got a mac mini m2 (macOS Ventura 13.3.1). While connecting to my office workstation via Citrix Workspace I found out that the microphone doesn't work.


I'm using a Plantronics Blackwire 5220 series headset with microphone which works well for me at work. On the Mac, i'm able to verify that both audio output and input work well with this device. Its only when connecting via Citrix that the audio input (microphone) stops working.


Is anyone aware of the issue and possible workarounds ?

Contact the developer of a macOS app

1. Open the App Store on your Mac.
2. Click the sign-in button  or your photo. 
3. A list of apps appears. Click the app that you want. If you can't find the app, use the search bar.
4. The app's product page appears. Click Support or App Support. If you don't see Support or App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID.


If you've downloaded this software directly from the developer we recommend reaching out to them via their available support channels.
