I like to shuffle through all songs in the library but there are a few that I want to prevent from playing in the shuffle. How can you identify the songs you don’t want it to play in a shuffle?

Select the song in question, press Cmd+i to get song info, then on the Options tab tick the Skip when shuffling checkbox. Note too that unchecked tracks are also skipped during shuffle or normal playback.
