Music stops playing, "Waiting for Bluetooth device" on a Mac / Macbook Pro

This sometimes happens several times in a row. When I click ok the music stops, but if I don't click on any of those buttons, the music just continues to play on my airpods pro 2... So I wonder why this message is even appearing?

But only using my airpods pro 2

I have no clue why and it is very annoying

I'm running the current release of MacOS 13.3.1

It does not happen on my iPhone

Hi! I have recently had this problem and found the fix:

The reason why this was happening (i think) was that i was using the airplay feature in the music app to play my music to my airpods pro 2 at the same time as they were connected to my macbook via bluetooth.

For those who have this issue, maybe try only using either the airplay feature or only using the bluetooth feature to connect your airpods so avoid confusing the macbook.
