My Apple Watch is counting too many steps, it’s counting them while I’m sat down/ drying my hair. How do I fix this? It’s saying I’ve burnt more calories and done more than I have

How do I fix my Apple Watch counting too many steps?

it’s counting way too many for what I’m doing, I dried my hair and it said I’d done 500 steps but it never used to do this? How do I reset it/ fix it as it’s not showing accurate to what I’ve actually done

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 8
