How do I remove an app from the cloud

Apps are not stored in iCloud. If you delete an app, you download it again from the App Store, not from iCloud. The cloud icon in the App Store only indicates that it was downloaded before.

If one downloads an App, previously downloaded and deleted, a Cloud icon appears next to to App the second time. One finds all previous progress in that App downloads also.
