Video files corrupted

I have video files on my iPhone 11 that run fine on the phone but are corrupted when I move them to my Windows 10 PC. I have tried multiple PC's, including a MAC. If I send them to myself by email or if I text message them to someone and then move them to my PC they are fine. But if I cut or copy and paste from the phone to the PC they are corrupt (for iphone connected directly to computer), or if I Airdrop the file, or if I use wetransfer. Thanks in advance for any help. I have tried opening the files on the PC with three different programs. Same results using all of them.
