Some clips are transcoding... Others get stuck at around 13% (it's always random).
When the clips get stuck, it'll sit at 13% for HOURS...
I was able to transcode about 30% of ALL my project video files, and the other 70% are now having this issue.
Do you have any potential fixes ?

A simple first step to try is resetting FCP prefs. Hold option and command while launching FCP and choose Delete Preferences. It will open the default Untitled library. Re-open the library you were working on, set the preferences back to the way you like them (disable background rendering, reset Import to Leave Files in Place, etc.) and see if the issue has been resolved.
If it hasn't been resolved then please post an https://etrecheck.com report using the "Additional text" button below in your reply. Be sure to give Full Disk Access to Etrecheck in System Preferences.

I ended up restarting my computer for a 2nd time, uninstalling FCPX, reinstalling it
then finally> I proxied my sony footage SEPARATE from my gopro footage.
I think the FCPX has a harder time proxying gopro footage for some reason.
Now it's working.... Slow but working.
How much free disk space is on the boot drive and on the drive where the proxies are being created? You need a bare minimum of 10% of free space, preferably 15%.
