Apple Sing isn't showing up at all on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 16.4.1.

I really like that you can read along with lyrics on Apple Music, but I just learned about Apple Sing only for it to not be on my phone. I have a 12 Pro Max with iOS 16.4.1 and have specifically tried the songs in the Sing playlist, but the microphone isn't there, and I've never ever seen it. I've tried resetting my phone and uninstalling & reinstalling the Music app, but nothing has worked. Please help!

Hi akinele,

Per the support article Sing along with Apple Music on iPhone the steps to access this feature are:

  1. "Tap the player to open Now Playing, then tap the Lyrics button.
  2. Touch and hold the Apple Music Sing button, then drag the slider up or down to adjust the vocal volume.
  3. To turn off Apple Music Sing for the song, tap the slider."

Also, per Apple introduces Apple Music Sing:

"The feature is not available for Apple Music Voice Plan subscribers."

If those don't explain the behavior you're seeing, then contact Apple Support to investigate further.

Regards.
