Apple Music not working

On my iPad (9th Generation) the sing feature is not working. It isn’t showing when I sing each word and I can’t change volume levels.

iPhone SE, iOS 16

What is your iPadOS version? 16.2 is the required minimum.

Apple Sing isn't showing up at all on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 16.4.1. I really like that you can read along with lyrics on Apple Music, but I just learned about Apple Sing only for it to not be on my phone. I have a 12 Pro Max with iOS 16.4.1 and have specifically tried the songs in the Sing playlist, but the microphone isn't there, and I've never ever seen it. I've tried resetting my phone and uninstalling & reinstalling the Music app, but nothing has worked. Please help!
