Open and Save panel service not responding

Hi,

Last couple of weeks I had some trouble with opening / save files and applications through the "Open and Save panel service". I can't even provide you with a screenshot without it "not responding". I've tried relaunching, rebooting, Safe Mode, problem still occurs in any case. My Mac is up to date, has 16gb of work memory, 1tb internal memory and a M1 chip. Are there any other solutions then reinstalling OSX?

Whenever I try to save/load a file within the finder or an application, the finder or the application does not respond. Really annoying cause I have a lot of schoolwork to do.
