Mail archive content disappeared on all the devices

Hello there,

I found out this morning that all the contents of my mail archive folder disappeared on all devices(iPhone, iPad and mac book). I saw it for a short second on my iPad and then it all just disappeared.Is there any way to retrieve the lost documents. I have checked all mail folders, but could not find anything. I thought the archive keeps everything you add, until you physically delete it. I hope someone can help.Thank you in advance.

Is this iCloud email? What is the exact error message, if any?

These steps may help. Please try the steps here: Delete and recover emails in Mail on iPhone - Apple Support

"Recover a deleted email

Tap in the upper-left corner, then tap next to the email account.
Tap , tap the email you want to recover, then tap .
Tap Move Message, then choose another mailbox.

Tip: To see deleted emails across all your accounts, tap Mailboxes at the top left, tap Edit at the top of the list, then select the All Trash mailbox."
