I am getting this update error message to macOS 11.7.5 Big Sur:

Current device configuration and target are invalid for installation in the current state. Please try again.

Anyone else?

I don't discount the lack of memory. Wish I had bought a bigger machine!!. I have 9.3 GB left and it says it needs 5.7 GB. I shall move other files to storage and try again.
