I just bought a Magic Keyboard with fingerprint the actual keyboard is working but the Touch ID is not please help. I have tried turning it on and off, plugging it in with the USBC cord tried without tried restarting the laptop, shutting it down, I made suer my computer is the most up to date. its not working please help! how do I get the Touch ID to work!

New Magic Keyboard for iMac 24 running 13.3.1.

In System Settings, there is no Touch ID fingerprint add option.

Clicking on Login Password, "A login password has been set for this user."

There is a lock that does not unlock when clicked.

Below that is: Touch ID/Login Password.

Clicking on that, no change, "A login password has been set for this user."

If I press the TouchID key, I get the login password screen.

Automatic Login is turned off.

The keyboard works fine whether connected by cord or not.

I do not wish to change my login password, I just want to add my fingerprint. How?
