Remote control an iPad from a PC (or iPhone)

I have provided my 95 year old mother with an iPad for mail and to keep in contact with me, grand children and grand grand children (video, mail and instagram). She also orders groceries for home delivery.

Problem is that she relatively often gets lost in the iPad and needs my help to get on track again. Easy for me when I'm there, but problematic when I'm at my own home.

Would help enormously if I could control her iPad remotely (its a 30 min drive, one way, for me to visit her)!

Is this possible?

Preferably from a PC, but I have an iPhone so that's an alternative.
