Word count in Notes
Notes is a splendidly simple, usable app, but for one regrettable deficiency: the lack of a word and character count, essential for writers meeting writing deadlines. Is there any way to implement this, please?

So, Recommend this to Apple:
Being not an option, recommend this to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is their customers prefer, and what features to include in iOS versions to come.
