M1 screen stage light issue

Hi, i have Macbook pro 13” laptop, 2020 M1 model bought in Feb 2021.

Recently the screen is having a stage light effect on bottom.

i called the service centre and they are saying that this model does not have any reported issue on this topic and it seems that there is some hardware issue and i need to take it to service which i will have to pay since i dont have the apple care.

Earlier people have reported the similar issue with older models and apple has serviced them for free

Any ideas why this is happening on screen and why apple is taking taking up this issue and rectifies for free for the apple product users.

Yes i can take it to the service centre for repair but problem is the coat which i will have to endure.

if there is a issue with stage light effect on screen which is also reported for M1 macbook pro laptops then apple should take a step in good faith and offer free service.

This is very disappointing that we spend thousands of dollars buying apple product and loyal apple product user and we end up with this kind of products.

I would not buy a new Mac today without factoring in the extended AppleCare+ at the time of purchase.
