Apple reminders app is set off by one day on Macbook

In apple reminders app for my MacBook Air. reminder I set is off by one day. If I set a reminder for today it shows up in the “yesterday” section of “scheduled” reminders. If I set one for tomorrow, it shows up today. (ToDo app works fine)

Time zone settings is correct.

Interestingly it shows up correctly on my iPad and Iphone even if it’s incorrect on my Macbook.

How do I fix this?

MacBook Air (M1, 2020)

Hello jasmina243,

We understand your Reminders app on your MacBook Air isn't showing any set reminders on the correct day. We have a few questions to help clarify the issue, then we'll provide a few steps to help us narrow down what might be causing this.

  • When you checked your time zone settings, do you mean your date and time are set correctly?
  • Is your iPhone and iPad date and time set the same as your MacBook Air?
  • Does the Calendar app show appointments on the correct day?

We'd like you to test the Reminders app while booted to safe mode. This will help rule out any possible login items causing the issue. Then, we'd like you to create a test user profile, log in to it and test Reminders. This will help determine if it's something specific to your user profile.
