Reminder App wrong date suggested

Hello,

I seem to have frustrating problem with Reminders app. Each time I want the app to understand the date I mean by typing in a word (eg. next Monday) it keeps suggesting me the date one week after. For example:

On the 20.11.22 i type in: "do task on Tuesday"

The App suggests 29.11.22 instead of 22.11.22

The problem persists both on OS Ventura and my iPhone 12.

Is there a remedy to the above? The dates & timezone settings seem fine, I searched for a similar problems here but did not find a solution in the end..

Hello wizden5,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you need help withReminders. We completely understand why you'd reach out, and are happy to help.

It sounds like this occurs when typing in the day. What happens when you type in the task and the click on "Add Date"? This may help with the issue.

Thanks for your answer.

Adding date manually as you indicated of course works correctly but this is not the case. I am accustomed to typing in dates altogether with the task in one text string which then changes into the specific date based on text recognition. This makes creating the tasks with dates much more efficient and I am seeking to retrieve this functionality back.
