1st Generation Homepod Repair in Sydey, Australia?

Hi, my Homepod just died, and I looked at Apple repairing it and it's estimated to be close to $400 - almost the price of a new unit, what's the logic in this?

Does anyone know anyone in the Sydney area that repair it for a reasonable price?
