Can't select wifi after factory resetting

After doing a factory reset, the "Activate Mac" screen is asking me to "select wi-fi network from the menu or attach a network cable to proceed."

There is nowhere on the screen for me to select a wifi network.

At this time I can't access my Mac. The "next" option is greyed out.

Can anyone help?

It also says or attach a network cable to proceed. Did you try the cable and what happens when you select next?

Is your router/gateway turned on and operating with other devices?

It may help to reboot your network...most times, this can be accomplished by unplugging the router/gateway for a minute or two, then plugging it back in and waiting for approx 3-5 minutes for the network to reboot.

After doing so, power cycle the Mac and see if it will then find your Wi-Fi network.
