Hi - does anybody have any experience of successfully connecting an E14 (first gen) Lenovo ThinkPad laptop (my current Windows work device) to an Apple Studio Display?
The ThinkPad uses a single USB C DisplayPort Alt port for power/display.

That’s unverifiable, hearsay information speculating about which is against the rules here. It’s also contrary to Apple’s spec which restricts the Studio Display to Apple devices only. Please follow up on those “other forums”, there’s not much you can expect here. Sorry!
Why do you think it should work? It’s not supported.
