CDs & Apple Music

Years ago I imported all of my CDs into iTunes. Today I still have hundreds of those music CDs boxed up in storage. I was hoping to donate them to my local library.

iTunes became (or was replaced by) Apple Music. While there are some songs that were purchased electronically, most of my library is comprised of those imported songs from my CD collection.

I am paying for Apple Music and understand that I have access to the extensive Cloud that is Apple Music.

My question is this: If I were to drop my subscription to Apple Music & if I no longer had those physical CDs, would I still have access to my “music library”?

So long as those burned tracks are in your music library, yes. But, legally if you no longer have the CD, you must technically delete your burned tracks
