Safari keeps reloading

I will be reading a page in safari on ipad air (4th gen) next thing I know the page reloads. This is really getting old, I will let it do this couple times, but eventually will quit reading it. I have cleared my cache and done everything the internet says to do to no avail. Apple this really needs fixed, so I can read somerhing to the end

Greetings verna2197,

Is this happening on all websites? Here’s a link to an article on Apple’s website to test with - If Safari isn't loading websites or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

A couple more steps you can take -

Make sure your device is up to date. Update your iPhone or iPad

  1. Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
  2. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.

Restart your iPad. Restart your iPad

How to restart an iPad without a Home button
1. Press and hold either volume button and the top button until the power off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the top button until you see the Apple logo.

Thanks.
