streaming problems

So I'm reading all these comments dating back Before 2020 I've I've been experiencing poor streaming issues ever since I bought my 1st generation apple TV device. Now I have a Samsung smart TV with the Apple plus TV app. It's no better than it ever was, perhaps worse. I have never been able to get through an episode of Ted lasso. Constant freezing forces me to exit the episode. This happens with everything I watch on Apple plus. I bought many movies through iTunes and now the only place I can watch them is on this crap app. As others have commented here all my other streaming services work just fine while Apple plus just gives me a headache.

My question is: Do you care apple?!?!?

It appears you don't because it's the same issues since 2015. It doesn't seem like you're trying to fix anything. Currently looking at frozen screen of Ted lasso season 3 episode 2. Sure would like to watch it.

Moving forward with video playback stopping while watching them in the Apple TV app in your Samsung smart TV, we'd like to confirm more details to learn more about what's happening, along with ruling out some possible causes:


  1. You'll need to reach out to Samsung Support if you don't already have the steps, but have you already tried deleting/downloading the Apple TV app to it since this began to occur?
  2. Do you have any firmware updates for your TV to install? This may also be something you'd need to contact Samsung Support about if you do not know how to check.
  3. While we understand other streaming apps work without any issue on your TV, have you been able to test your same Apple ID with Apple TV+ in a different device other than your older Apple TV 1st gen, along with your Samsung TV? If yes, what were the results?
