Air Print on a Canon ImageClass MF644Cdw

Since upgrading to OS 13.2.1, my MacBook Air will not connect with my Canon printer (ImageClass MF644Cdw) without having the USB attached. It was never a problem before. The computer and printer are on the same WiFi connection, I have downloaded the latest software from Canon, but nothing seems to work.

What can I do to have wireless printing back?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.2

Give the following a try in order as needed:

1 - reboot the MBA and see if you can print.

2a- go the the System/Printers & Scanners setting pane and remove the printer from the list of printers.

2b - reboot the MBA

2c - add the printer back with the AirPrint or Bonjour option.

2c - try to print.

3a - shut down the MBA, router, modem and printer.

3b - restart in this order: modem, router, printer and MBA

3c - try printing again
