Connect mac to printer
I have a MacBookPro with MacOS Montery update. I am trying to
connect it with a Canon TS 5351a printer. I could not find a suitable driver or use AirPrint. Thankful for all possible help!

The Canon TS5351a is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. This means that it should be compatible with macOS 12 Monterey, and can be used without additional drivers, provided that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).
You may have to reset the printing system before adding the printer (to use AirPrint):

If there is a device discovery problem with AirPrint, you could try the following power-cycle sequence (with these waiting times; do not forget the router): Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the Mac, and all other connected devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the Mac. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.
The AirPrint printing ability via the Wi-Fi router could also be tested with the help of an iPhone or iPad:

Thank you so much for your quick and detailed answer! I have tried all suggestion except to reset the printing system, without success. Since it seems a little dramatic, I will go to the dealer before doing so.

Resetting the printing system is more or less standard procedure, but if you have many printers, it can cause extra work because of lost presets, etc.
I assume that the printer is connected to a Wi-Fi router (such as a home Wi-Fi network, the same as used for the Mac). That is, not a wireless direct connection computer to printer (where the printer creates a network of its own). This can sometimes lead to confusion.
This printer appears to use 2.4 GHz. Dual-band routers can have a "smart" way of detecting devices and selecting bands. This may not always work as intended. Sometimes, it will become necessary to change router settings in order to, for example, split/rename bands.
Do you have access to an iPhone or iPad? If so, is it possible to print from that device (via the router)?
