Can anybody help with reading the following EtreCheck report and helping me diagnose any issues relating to my MacBook overheating so much?

Uninstall Avast by following the developer's instructions. You must use the developer's uninstaller option whether that is included in the Avast app itself, or available as a separate app from Avast.

Anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, and third party security software are not needed on a Mac and usually causes more problems than they solve because their very nature is to interfere with the normal operation the OS. If you feel you may have accidentally installed malware or adware, then it is Ok to run MalwareBytes to check the system, but there is no reason to keep the real time scanner running as it will also interfere with the normal operation of macOS. The MalwareBytes uninstaller I believe is located on the app's "Help" menu.

macOs already has great built-in security especially when combined with the user practicing safe computing habits. See this article written by a respected forum contributor which has tips for safe computing habits:

Nothing stood out to me from the report. I don't have any experience with Avast Anti-track or if it has caused any problems with other users. I do see that Mac Fan Control is running and not something I think you need. Let the system control the fans without interruption, especially if you are having overheating issues.

Something else I would try is to run Activity Monitor. There should be a direct correlation between the heat and values of the %CPU and %GPU. If you have a process consuming a large amount of CPU usage, feel free to ask about the process to see if it is related.
