Changing voicemail deletion settings and retrieval of permanently deleted voicemails

On my iPhone 13 Pro Max, How can I change phone settings to Permanently save precious voicemails of my deceased loved ones? Also, how can I retrieve these precious voicemails that have apparently self deleted in recent months, without completely restoring my phone from the cloud?? It is heartbreaking to think that I may have lost these voicemails forever! Someone please help me using as simple instructions as possible.

Hello MikeCiaccio,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Currently there isn't an auto save feature for voicemails on iOS. You can manually share voicemails by following these steps here: Check your voicemail on iPhone - Apple Support

Play, share, or delete a voicemail message
1. Tap Voicemail, then tap a message.
2. Do any of the following:
* Play the message: Tap the Play button.
* Messages are saved until you delete them or your carrier erases them.
* Share the message: Tap the Share button.
Important: In some countries or regions, deleted messages may be permanently erased by your carrier. Your voice messages may also be deleted if you change your SIM card.
To recover a deleted message, tap Deleted Messages, tap the message, then tap Undelete.

You can also contact your carrier for help with missing voicemails. We hope this information is helpful. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Best of luck.
