LG monitor for Mac Mini M2 Pro turns off and on

This did not happen with my older Mini but with this one, the LG 5K monitor turns black for several seconds about once every 30 seconds.

If you are using the LG supplied cable, test a higher quality Thunderbolt cable.

Apple Thunderbolt Cable (2.0 m) - White - Apple

Itʻs a 27" MD5KL-B ultrafine connected with a thunderbolt cable.
