Freestyle Libre 2 OS 16.3.1 Compatibility

The Freestyle Libre 2 has stopped some of its functions as iPhone OS updated to 16.3.1. This is an app widely used by diabetics to scan their devices with their IPhones to see their readings and also share this data with their physicians and monitoring relatives.

Libre has stonewalled the issue saying that patients should ask Apple to undo the update.

Does the community have a solution for transmitting the data on Freestyle Libre 2 ?

Hello,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Developers of FreeStyle Libre 2 do have compatibility details listed here: App Store Preview - FreeStyle Libre 2

Compatibility

This information leads us to believe that their app is built to work with current iOS version. However, if the app isn't properly working, we recommend that you follow these steps here: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support

1.) Close and reopen the app.
2.) Restart your iPhone.
3.) Check for app updates. To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available.
4.) Delete and redownload the app.

If you require more help from this specific app, we recommend that you reach out to the app developers for help. This link can show you how to reach them: How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
