enable full name in title bar?
I've just upgraded to Monterey and in Finder as well as some apps the full name of the file or folder is no longer visible in the title bar. In previous versions the name was across the top and thus visible but now it's at the side and if there are other items in the title bar (which is invariably the case) it's truncated. So when I have two files open, say "research_project_ 2023_full_version" and "research_project_ 2023_summary", both names show as "research_project_ 202..." and I don't know which one I'm working on. This is really irritating and I've already wasted a lot of time as I've unknowingly been working on the wrong file.
Can the layout of the title bar be personalised? If not, Apple people, can we have the old system back, as an option at least if not as a default?
