Screen time limit doesn’t work

I put a screen time limit on Chrome on my daughters iPhone but once the limit is reached ( yes I did turn on block after limit is reached) she is still able to go on chrome. How is this possible and what can I do to enforce the limit?

Hello lerouxtm,

Based on what you've told us, a good starting point would be to make sure your daughter's device is up to date with the latest version of iOS. iOS updates can solve issues like this.

Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
The Settings app on iPhone showing options to update to iOS 15.7 or iOS 16.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

You can see other ways to update your daughter's iPhone here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If the issue continues, does this issue happen with other apps beside Chrome? Also, does your daughter receive any prompts at the end of the downtime?

Thanks.
