What changes do I need to make with respect to owner ID and password before donating my mid 2010 Mac Pro to a school?

Transfering Macbook Ownership I have purchased my laptop from my employer and want to sign-in on my Apple ID but it's still using the default version from my previous employer, or rather it doesn't even look like it's signed in, just has their email and name. Is there a way I can sign them out without having to enter their password? When I click sign out a password prompt appears to remove "find my mac". Screenshot attached if that's helpful but details removed. Thanks!
