Message freezing on iPhone

Yes. I called and reported issue to apple when it first started happening to me about three weeks ago. Force restarting the phone would fix it for short term. Then it would start happening again. The fix that work the longest was once the message app setting was unfrozen, it froze for me when message app did also, I was told by apple support to turn off iMessage for like 30 seconds or so then turn back on. It worked for a period of time but now it just keeps freezing again randomly. Definitely think its a software issue. I hope they are working on it because I thought I was going to have to get a new phone. I am now starting to see others are having the issue though.

What Apple device? Most Apple devices have the Messages app.
