Double Charged and Missing Suica Card: What to Do and Who to Contact?

I tried to add the Suica card to Apple wallet, Apple Pay made the transaction of the amount I’ve selected and took the money from my bank however the wallet app crashed and no Suica card was added to my wallet.. so I did it again and it worked (card was issued and added to my wallet) but now I’ve paid twice and only got 1 card. What should do I do? Who should I contact?

Sorry I didn't realise Suica was a transport card. Seems as both amounts are "pending" no money has actually changed hands as yet. (You could check on your card provider/bank statement,)

and

You might want to check your Suica balance:

On your iPhone

  1. Open the Wallet app.
  2. Tap your Suica card to see your current balance.

Apple Support have a few articles about Suica cards:

Add a Suica or PASMO card to Apple Wallet – Apple Support

and

Use Suica or PASMO cards on iPhone or Apple Watch in Japan - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"With your Suica or PASMO card set to Express Mode, you can quickly pay for rides with just a tap of your iPhone or Apple Watch".

There is info. about topping up, and much more in the article above.

and

If your Suica card balance doesn't update

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app.
  2. Tap your Suica card.
  3. Tap the More button , then tap Card Details .
  4. Turn on Service Mode, then authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

To turn off Service Mode, tap on the card.

Learn what to do if your balance still doesn't update.

Hi, and welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community

Re: "What should do I do? Who should I contact?"

Wondering where the double charge purchase was made from:

eg An Apple purchase using your Apple ID or a purchase from a merchant or website.

If the purchase was for items or services from Apple:

To check to see just what you were double-charged for, if you want to:

If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support

Three options:

(1) You could try reporting a problem:

Report a problem:

https://reportaproblem.apple.com/?s=6

or

(2) you could just apply for a refund, and wait to see what Apple decides:

Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple – Apple Support

or

(3) You could reach out to Billing and Subscriptions:

There is a “Get Support” Link (or an App) at the bottom of their webpage (link below).

Subscriptions and Billing - Official Apple Support

Else:

If the double-charge was for a purchase from a merchant / website using Apple Pay:

Check to see there are still double charges, (and that one has not been refunded):

See your Apple Pay transaction history - Apple Support

(NB: For the most accurate record of your transactions, refer to the credit or debit statement(s) from your card issuer ... or was double actually deducted by your bank.)

Two choices:

(1) How to: Get a refund for purchases made with credit or debit cards using Apple Pay - Apple Support

or

(2) Apple Pay Support:

Click on "Get support" (eg: online chat, phone, eMail etc.) at the bottom of webpage:

Apple Pay - Official Apple Support

Hehe! No. It is just that many people address comments and requests to Apple. Some expect their personal accounts to be rectified. So many do not realize at first, that Apple itself is not here, and that it is Apple users, like themselves, who volunteer to reply. Adding (user-to-user) is to get the message across as simply as I know how, is nothing "official".

Hello, and thank you for your response. Let me explain what occurred. It is a third-party card, but I solely used the Apple wallet to complete all of this, which is why I'm asking here because I can't find anything about it on the Suica website.

I suppose Apple is just a middleman here, but what I did was add a transport card (Suica card) to Apple Wallet, which you can do via the wallet app, you are required to top up your Suica card in order for it to be released, so I selected the amount and hit continue so Apple Pay took the amount from my bank card, which I also have in my Apple wallet, once Apple Pay took the money (a notification was sent to me) and the app crashed (closed itself) So I went through the process again, and this time the card was issued and the same sum was deducted from my bank card again. Now I have 2 pending transactions with the same amount but only 1 Suica card, I’m wondering how can I cancel the first transaction since no card was generated for it.
